University Ave

I’ve been dwelling about this postcard of University Ave that James Boston posted on his Toronto Before website a week or two ago:

school bells. hurry hard. bengal lancers on patrol.

There will not be any “curling rocks” jokes, I promise. The same cannot be said for “I’m a curling hack,” though.

Cavafy, Ithaka

Ithaka gave you the splendid journey.
Without her you would not have set out.
